DIY An Old Sheet... into a Domino Pillow Cover!

If you've ever wondered what to do with an old white sheet... here's the answer! DON'T chuck it out - make a domino piece, and play at being retro cool... Hey, why not make one for everyone in the family, then have a giant game at your next get together..? You could start a new Christmas trend ;)

OK, maybe that's going a bit far - but I'm feeling rather giddy - this video is the fourth in the series, marking the halfway house of all eight How To's... As ever, let me know if you have any suggestions, or comments on, the following video - it's always great to hear your feedback...

You'll notice I didn't mention the proportions of the 'long' pillow cushion, these measurements vary depending on where you get your cushion from. Whatever you do, measure the pillow and add 1cm for the seam allowance, before sewing up your finished case.
I have seen some sewists argue that a pillow case should be sewn to the same measurements as the pillow itself, no seam allowance leeway is really needed - and it's bound to 'give' with time anyway. Really, it's up to you - the main thing is not to sew it up too small, obviously!

And if you'd like to check out some of the earlier videos from the series, here they are;
Episode 1; Take an old record, and cook up a new bowl!
Episode 2; Convert a curtain into a perfumed pouch, for your drawers!
Episode 3; Refashion an old fleece into a hand warmer (or dog comforter!)

or speed forward, and watch the rest!
Episode 5; Change an old duvet into a decorative wall hanging
Episode 6; Rework an old hardback book into a secret compartment...
